THE PURPOSE OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IS:

 

Worship – To Provide worship experiences for our membership and for the greater Christian community in Payette, Idaho that celebrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ and encourage the believers.

 

Evangelism – To introduce our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ to as many persons in Payette, Idaho, as possible through as many methods as feasible, for the goal of leading them to salvation in Jesus Christ.

 

Disciple-Making – To disciple believers and to mature them to the point where they recognize their spiritual gifts and serve God through the ministry of their local church, through such special ministries as they are led to begin or participate in, and through their secular occupations and community involvement.

 

Fellowship – To minister to the church and to the community by encouraging, helping, loving, establishing friendships, visiting and socializing, and seeking to understand each other.
